Some hire sites have a gate, roller door, or entrance that customers must unlock before they reach their item. Location access gives customers a separate site code for that entry lock, then routes them to the normal pickup flow for their item's lock code.

Configure: Settings → Locations
Customer books and receives their confirmation email or SMS as usual.
At pickup time, they open the Location Access link from their confirmation page.
Lockii shows a site access code for the gate or entrance lock, plus any access instructions you configured (parking, gate location, etc.).
Customer enters the site, then continues to the pickup wizard for their item's lock code.
Lockii generates the site access code automatically when the booking is confirmed. Customers only see it during the booking period.
If a location does not have an access lock configured, customers skip this step and go straight to pickup.
Go to Settings → Locations and open the site.
Add Access Details with directions customers need before entering (parking, gate location, keypad position).
Under Access Lock, select a connected iglooHome lock used for site or gate entry.
Assign item locks to stock units as usual. Site access and item locks are separate.
If you change the access lock on a location, Lockii refreshes access codes on future bookings for that site.
Keep access instructions short and specific. Customers read these on their phone at the gate.
Site access locks are for entry to the hire location. Item locks on stock units control access to the equipment itself.
