A custom domain lets customers book on your own subdomain — for example bookings.yourcompany.com — instead of the default Lockii booking URL. Once connected, checkout links, confirmation pages, and automated booking emails all use your branded domain.
In the app: Settings → Website & Embeds
When your custom domain is connected:
Hosted browse and checkout links use your subdomain
Customer emails (confirmations, reminders, lock codes) send from your domain
Embedded widgets continue to work — hosted links simply reflect your brand
Root domains (e.g. yourcompany.com without a subdomain) are not supported. Use a subdomain such as book or bookings.yourcompany.com.
Go to Settings → Website & Embeds.
Scroll to Custom domain and click Connect.
Enter your subdomain (e.g. bookings.yourcompany.com).
Click Setup domain — this adds a custom-domain add-on to your Lockii subscription.
Lockii shows the DNS records you need to add at your domain registrar.
Add the records, then click Refresh status in the dialog until the domain shows Connected.
Copy your hosted browse link from the same settings page — it should show your custom domain.
Open the link in a browser and complete a test booking.
Check that your confirmation email uses the new domain in its links.
DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate — use the refresh button in Lockii to check progress.
Your widget embed code does not change; only customer-facing links and emails switch to the custom domain.
See Embedding Widgets On Your Site for widget installation alongside your custom domain.
