Lockii supports multiple team members per company with role-based permissions. Invite staff, assign roles, and control access to bookings, inventory, payments, reporting, and organisation settings.
In the app: Settings → Manage Members
Go to Settings → Manage Members.
Click Invite Member.
Enter their email and name.
Select a role (see below).
They receive an email invitation to join your company.
The invitee clicks the link in their email.
They sign in or create a Lockii account with the same email address.
Lockii adds them to your company and opens the dashboard.
If they create a new account or sign in with the invited email, Lockii accepts a single pending invitation automatically. They land in your company without an extra confirmation step.
If they already joined (for example after signing up with the invited email), opening the invitation link again still completes the flow and switches them into your company.
View all members and their roles in the team list.
Change roles or remove members as needed.
Removed members lose access immediately.
Lockii permissions are grouped by resource:
Resource
Controls access to
Booking
Creating and managing bookings
Inventory
Products, stock, and maintenance
Payments
Recording, retrying, and refunding booking payments (including Revenue Recovery)
Reporting
Analytics and reports
Organization
Settings, billing, and team management
Custom roles let you mix permissions. For example, a warehouse role that can view bookings and stock but not change pricing or process payments.
Manage payments is a separate permission from company settings. Staff with this permission can:
Charge a saved card on a booking
Enable or cancel Revenue Recovery on failed card charges
Record manual payments and refunds
Owners and admins always have payment access. For custom roles, turn on Manage payments when someone should collect or adjust booking payments without giving them full settings access.
If a member tries to open payment actions without this permission, Lockii shows a clear access message in the web app and mobile app.
Custom roles control more than which pages a person can open. They also control which Inbox alerts and push notifications Lockii delivers.
A member with booking read access receives booking-related alerts (overdue hires, return issues, change requests, and similar).
A member without booking access does not receive those alerts, even if they are on the team.
Each person still chooses which allowed alert types to turn on in their Inbox settings.
When you build a custom role, match permissions to what that person should act on. A payouts-only role should not get booking alerts. A depot manager with booking access for one location should only see Inbox items for that location.
See Managing Your Inbox & Alerts for how location filtering works in the Inbox.
Users can belong to multiple companies (for example a franchise operator or consultant).
Each company has its own data, settings, and team.
Switch companies from the sidebar company selector on web, or from Settings in the mobile app.
When you sign in on the web and belong to more than one company, Lockii shows a Select your company screen. Tap the company you want to open. Lockii remembers your choice for the session.
If you belong to only one company, Lockii opens it automatically after sign-in.
If you need to create another company under the same login, choose Create a new company on the select screen. Lockii takes you through the same signup flow for the additional business.
New accounts without a company yet go straight to company setup instead of landing on an empty dashboard.
Team permissions apply the same way in the Lockii mobile app. Members without Manage payments cannot charge cards, enable Revenue Recovery, or refund from the booking Payments screen.
See Lockii Mobile App for the full mobile guide.
Give frontline staff booking access but restrict settings and payments to managers.
Review team members when someone leaves. Remove access promptly.
Use the Lockii mobile app for staff who need on-the-go access.
After changing a member's role, ask them to check their Inbox notification preferences so they are not missing alerts they now need.
Assign Manage payments only to staff who should collect or refund booking payments.
