Configuring Pricing

Configure hire rates, discounts, and optional extras like insurance or equipment.

Lockii's pricing system has three layers: pricing templates define how hire rates are calculated, coupons offer discounts, and add-on services let customers purchase extras during checkout.

In the app: Settings → Pricing Details

Pricing templates

Pricing templates define rate tiers (e.g. daily, weekly, 3-day) and how price scales with duration. Each product is assigned one template.

Create a pricing template

  1. Go to Settings → Pricing Details.

  2. Click Add Pricing Template.

  3. Define tiers — e.g. first day $50, each additional day $30.

  4. Set tax behaviour if applicable.

  5. Assign the template to products on their detail page.

Click any template in the list to open its dedicated editor page.

Coupons

Coupons apply percentage or fixed discounts to bookings.

Create a coupon

  1. In Settings → Pricing Details, go to the Coupons section.

  2. Click Add Coupon.

  3. Set the code, discount type (percentage or fixed), and usage limits.

  4. Optionally set an expiration date — choose Expires on a date and pick the last day the coupon should work. After that date, customers can no longer use the code at checkout.

  5. Apply coupons manually in the booking editor, or let customers enter them at checkout.

Click any coupon in the list to open its dedicated editor page.

Expired coupons show as expired in your coupon list so you can archive or extend them.

Add-on services

Services are optional extras customers can add during checkout — insurance, delivery, extra equipment, etc.

Create a service

  1. In Settings → Pricing Details, go to the Services section.

  2. Click Add Service.

  3. Set name, price, and whether it's per-booking or per-day.

  4. Services appear as optional add-ons in checkout and the booking editor.

Click any service in the list to open its dedicated editor page.

Tips

  • Use pricing templates across similar products to keep rates consistent.

  • Coupons are great for launch promotions — set an expiration date to avoid accidental long-term discounts.

  • Keep add-ons to a few high-value options; too many choices slow down checkout.

  • Track add-on revenue in the Revenue Report or review add-on purchase patterns in Booking Analysis.
