Marketplace Import turns forwarded booking confirmation emails into pending Lockii bookings. Lockii reads the email with AI, matches the customer, dates, location, and products where possible, assigns available stock, and notifies your team to review. No retyping marketplace bookings by hand.
Once you confirm the pending booking, Lockii blocks availability and your normal automated pickup flow takes over.
Setup: Settings → Integrations → Marketplaces
You copy your unique import email address from Lockii (for example [email protected]).
You set up auto-forwarding of marketplace booking confirmation emails to that address from the same email you use to sign in to Lockii.
Lockii extracts booking details, creates a pending booking, and sends an inbox notification.
You open the booking, confirm products, stock, and any missing details, then save to confirm.
Imported bookings do not confirm automatically. Your team reviews first so unmatched products or dates never slip through.
Click Marketplace Import and copy your import email address.
In your email provider, forward marketplace confirmation emails to that address. Forward from the email you use to log in to Lockii.
When a booking arrives, open the Marketplace Booking Imported notification in your Inbox.
Review the pending booking: customer, dates, location, line items, and stock assignments.
Fix any unmatched products, assign stock if needed, and save the booking to confirm it.
The booking activity timeline records the marketplace name and reference link when one was included in the email.
For bookings imported after this update, you can open the original marketplace confirmation email directly from the booking timeline.
Open the booking in Lockii.
Scroll to the Activity timeline.
Find the Marketplace Booking Imported entry.
Click Imported Email to preview the message Lockii received.
Use this when you need to double-check dates, customer details, or product names against the source email. Older imports may only show a Marketplace Reference link if the original email was not stored.
When Lockii imports a booking from a forwarded email, it stores a link to that message on the booking timeline.
In the activity timeline, find the Marketplace Booking Imported event.
Click Imported Email to open a preview of the original message.
Use the marketplace reference link on the same event when you need to open the booking on the marketplace site.
This is useful when the AI missed a detail or you need to double-check a product name, date, or customer note from the source email.
For pending marketplace bookings, the Send checkout email action on the booking uses the resolved hire price, not a stale placeholder. Customers see the correct amount when they pay through the checkout link you send.
Any marketplace that sends booking confirmation emails can work: Towlos, Viator, GetYourGuide, Local Trailer Hire, Neighbor Trailer, Airbnb, and others. Lockii extracts customer name, contact details, dates, location, and product names from the message.
You can also create pending marketplace bookings with POST /marketplace-import using a Lockii API key. See Lockii REST API for API setup.
Forward only booking confirmation emails, not general marketplace messages.
Keep product and location names in Lockii close to how they appear in marketplace emails. Lockii fuzzy-matches against your catalog.
Treat imports as drafts until you save them. Availability is not fully blocked until the booking is confirmed.
Use Imported Email on the activity timeline when a field looks wrong. The source message is faster than hunting through your inbox.
