Managing Customers

Store customer details, verify identities, view booking history, and block repeat offenders.

The Customers section is your customer directory. Lockii automatically creates customer profiles when someone books online, and you can add customers manually for phone or walk-in bookings. Each profile stores contact details, identity verification status, booking history, activity, and team comments.

In the app: Customers

Quick guide

Browse and filter customers

  1. Open Customers from the sidebar.

  2. Use the status cards to filter:

    • All — every customer

    • Current — customers with an active hire right now

    • Recent — hired within the last 30 days

    • New — created in the last 7 days

    • Unverified — identity not yet verified (if you use identity checks)

  3. Scroll to load more results.

Add a new customer

  1. Click Add Customer in the header.

  2. You'll be taken to the customer detail page to enter name, email, phone, and address.

  3. Save changes — the customer is now available when creating bookings.

View and edit a customer

  1. Click any customer row to open their profile.

  2. Edit contact info, address, and notes.

  3. View their full booking history and activity timeline.

Leave a team comment

  1. Open a customer profile.

  2. Scroll to the activity timeline.

  3. Type in the comment box and press Enter to post.

  4. Type @ to mention a teammate who should follow up.

Comments are internal. Customers never see them. See Comments on Bookings & Customers for details.

Activity and team comments

Each customer profile includes an Activity section with their booking history, identity events, and team comments in one timeline.

  • Leave internal notes for your team in the comment box.

  • Type @ to mention a teammate. They receive an inbox notification.

  • Right-click a comment you posted to delete it.

See Team Comments & Mentions for the full guide, including the mobile app.

Verify a customer's identity

If you use Stripe Identity:

  1. Open the customer profile.

  2. If unverified, you'll see a Not Verified badge.

  3. Options:

    • Mark as Verified — manually approve (e.g. verified in person)

    • Generate Link — send a verification link (expires in 48 hours)

Block a customer

  1. Open the customer profile.

  2. Use the block action to prevent them from booking again.

  3. Blocked customers cannot complete checkout on your site.

Tips

  • Create customer profiles before phone bookings so you can reuse their details.

  • The Unverified filter is useful for chasing ID checks before high-value hires go out.

  • Customer activity logs show every booking, payment, communication, and team comment — helpful for dispute resolution.

  • @mention a manager on a customer profile when you need a second opinion before approving a high-risk hire.

  • Use team comments to leave context for the next staff member who opens the profile.
