Add-ons are optional extras customers can add during checkout or that your team can attach to a booking. Insurance, delivery fees, helmet hire, and damage waiver are common examples. Set them up once and Lockii prices them automatically on every booking.
Add-ons can charge a flat fee, a percentage of the hire subtotal, or both. Customers see them in checkout and in the order summary. Your team can also add or remove add-ons from an existing booking.
In the app: Settings → Pricing Details → Add-ons
An add-on is an optional charge linked to a booking:
Flat fee — a fixed amount added to the hire (for example $15 delivery).
Percentage — a share of the hire subtotal (for example 10% damage waiver).
Both — a flat fee plus a percentage on top.
Lockii calculates the final add-on price when the booking is created or updated. Customers choose add-ons at checkout. Staff can toggle add-ons on a booking from the web or mobile app.
Go to Settings → Pricing Details.
Scroll to the Add-ons section.
Click the + button to create a new add-on.
Set the name, icon, description, and pricing (flat fee, percentage, or both).
Save. The add-on appears at checkout immediately.
The order you set here is the order customers see at checkout and when staff add add-ons to a booking.
Grab the drag handle on the left of an add-on row.
Drag it up or down to the position you want.
Lockii saves the new order automatically.
Put your most popular or recommended add-ons first so customers see them without scrolling.
Open a booking from Bookings.
Find the Add-ons section on the booking detail page.
Select or deselect add-ons as needed. Lockii recalculates the booking total.
Add-on setup and reordering happen in the web app. On mobile, you can add or remove add-ons from an existing booking:
Open a booking.
Tap Add-ons.
Toggle add-ons on or off. Lockii updates the booking total.
Keep add-on names short and clear. Customers should know what they are buying at a glance.
Use the description field for details like coverage limits or what is included.
Reorder add-ons so your highest-value extras appear first at checkout.
Archive add-ons you no longer offer instead of deleting them. Archived add-ons stay on past bookings but disappear from checkout.
