Find My Booking

How customers look up an existing booking by email when they've lost their confirmation.

The Find My Booking page lets customers retrieve their booking details when they've lost their confirmation email or link. They enter their email address and receive a magic link to manage their hire.

How it works

  1. Customer visits the find page on your site

  2. They enter the email address used when booking

  3. Lockii sends an email with links to their active bookings

  4. From there they can view confirmation, extend, return, or access their lock code

Customer account page

For a richer experience, you can also link customers to the account page. After signing in with a one-time email code, they see all their bookings in one place and can jump straight to any confirmation page.

Find My Booking is best as a fallback when someone lost their email. The account page works well as a permanent "My bookings" link in your site header.

What operators should do

  • Add the Find My Booking widget to your website footer or help page.

  • Add an account button or embed if you want returning customers to sign in and see all bookings.

  • Include the find page URL in your communication templates as a fallback.

  • If a customer calls, you can look up their booking in the back office via Global Search or the Customers page.

Tips

  • This page reduces support calls. Link to it prominently on your site.

  • The lookup always returns a generic success message (for security, it doesn't reveal whether the email exists).

  • Your Customer Support MCP can also send lookup emails programmatically.
