Leave team comments on bookings and customers to coordinate with your staff without leaving Lockii. Type @ to mention a teammate, and Lockii sends them an inbox notification with a preview of your message.
Comments sit alongside the activity timeline, so booking changes, automated messages, and team notes all live in one place.
In the app: Open any booking or customer profile and scroll to the activity timeline.
Comments are internal notes for your team. Customers never see them.
Use them when staff need to coordinate on a booking or customer, for example:
Handing off context before a shift change
Flagging something unusual on a hire
Asking a teammate to follow up
Lockii still runs bookings automatically. Comments are there for the moments when a human needs to step in.
Open a booking from Bookings.
In the sidebar, find the activity timeline.
Type in the comment box at the top of the timeline.
Press Enter or click the send button to post.
Open a customer from Customers.
Scroll to the Activity section on their profile.
Type your comment and send.
In the comment box, type @ followed by your teammate's name.
Select them from the list.
Post the comment.
Lockii notifies mentioned teammates in their Inbox. Anyone who has already commented on the same booking or customer also gets a thread notification when someone else replies.
Right-click a comment you posted and choose Delete. This permanently removes it from the timeline.
Comments work the same way on iOS.
Open a booking in the Bookings tab.
Tap Activity in the booking sub-menu.
Scroll the combined timeline of booking events, sent messages, and team comments.
Type in the floating comment bar at the bottom and tap send.
Open a customer from Search or a booking.
Tap Activity on their profile.
Leave a comment from the floating bar at the bottom.
Type @ in the comment bar and pick a teammate from the list. They receive the same inbox notification as on web.
Long-press a comment you posted, then confirm Delete.
Tap any activity event (not a comment) to open a detail sheet. This shows exactly what changed, with before and after values for fields like dates, location, and line items.
Lockii creates two comment notification types:

Each notification shows the booking or customer reference and a preview of the comment text, so you can decide whether to open it without digging through the timeline.
Toggle these on or off per user in Inbox settings.
Mention the right person instead of messaging them separately. They land in the same inbox they already check for overdue hires and return issues.
Comments sync in real time across web and mobile.
Pair comments with the activity timeline. Hover changed values on web, or tap an event on mobile, to see what Lockii recorded automatically.
