Locations are the physical sites where customers pick up and return items. Each location has an address, operating hours, and optional access lock for gates or site entry. Stock units are assigned to locations, and customers select a location during booking.
In the app: Settings → Locations
Go to Settings → Locations.
Click Add Location.
Enter the name, street address, and contact details.
Set operating hours for each day of the week — bookings outside these hours are blocked.
Save. Lockii geocodes the address for map display and distance calculations.
Open a location.
Configure open/close times per day.
Mark days as closed if the site isn't available.
Operating hours affect online availability checks and the booking editor.
Open a product → stock unit.
Set the Location field to the relevant site.
Customers browsing that location will only see items stationed there.
If customers must unlock a gate, door, or site entrance before reaching their item, set up location access:
Open the location in Settings → Locations.
Add Access Details — parking directions, gate location, or other site instructions customers see on their phone.
Under Access Lock, select a connected iglooHome lock used for site or gate entry.
Save.
Lockii generates a separate access code for the site lock, distinct from each stock unit's item lock code. Customers see the access code on a Location Access page before continuing to the pickup wizard for their item.
If you change the access lock on a location, Lockii automatically refreshes access codes on future bookings for that site.
Use accurate addresses — Lockii uses them for the Quick Hire map and customer directions.
If you have one central depot, you still need at least one location for bookings to work.
Filter your Schedule and Dashboard by location when managing multiple sites.
Site access locks are for entry to the hire location; item locks on stock units control access to the actual equipment.
