Customers can extend their booking without contacting support. They pick a new end date, see the prorated price difference, and pay online — Lockii updates the booking, lock code, and schedule automatically.

How it works
- Customer opens the extension link from their confirmation page or email
- They select a new end date
- Lockii calculates the additional cost based on your pricing template
- Customer pays the difference via Stripe
- The booking is updated — lock code validity extends to the new end time
- You receive an extension notification in your Inbox
What operators can do
- Copy an extension link from the booking editor (three-dot menu → Extension Link).
- Include the extension link in your communication templates.
- View extension history in the booking activity timeline.
Tips
- Extensions are a significant revenue driver — mention the option in your return reminder messages.
- Lock codes automatically update for iglooHome locks when a booking is extended.
- If a customer can't extend (e.g. another booking follows), they'll see an availability error.
